CPC statement of purpose: 

Carrying the message in the basic service that the AA Fellowship provides.  It is our principal aim and the main reason for our existence.  AA is more than a set of principles; it is a society for alcoholics in action.  We must carry the message or we will wither and those who haven't been given the truth will die.  Hence, AA service is anything that helps us reach a fellow sufferer.  The sum total of all these services is our Third legacy of "SERVICE".

To provide professional information about AA to those who have contact with alcoholics through their own profession.  This information should include, but is not limited to, what we are, what we can do, and what we cannot do.  We should establish good cooperation between AA and the professionals in our community.
