DCM Fellowship Connection Training – Hosted by the Area Secretary and Alt Secretary

Dear Area Officers, DCMs, and Alternate DCMs,

You are invited to join us for a virtual training session focused on the AA Fellowship Connection website. As many of you know, Fellowship Connection serves as the essential contact database for Alcoholics Anonymous Groups, Districts, and Areas.

Training Details:

  • Date: March 15, 2026
  • Time: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM CST
  • Hosts: Rodney B. and Danny J.
  • Meeting Link: Join via Google Meet
  • Alternative Dial-in: +1 (US)

Our Goal: The primary aim of this call is to provide a comprehensive walkthrough on how to effectively navigate and use the Fellowship Connection website. A critical focus will be discussing our strategy for a complete database cleanup to be finalized by Q4 of 2026.

About Fellowship Connection: According to resources from AA.org, Fellowship Connection is a user-friendly tool designed for Area Registrars and their alternates (and in many cases, DCMs) to manage and update group information in real-time. It directly syncs with the General Service Office (GSO) records, ensuring that:

  • Group Mailings: Groups receive important information and kits from the GSO without delay.
  • Directory Accuracy: Information for the “A.A. Near You” search tools and printed directories remains current.
  • Service Communication: Effective communication is maintained between the GSO and the local fellowship.

Maintaining an accurate database is a vital service that helps newcomers find us and keeps our groups connected to the whole of AA. We look forward to seeing you all on the call and working together to ensure our records are up to date.
